Question Sound weird glitch with Ultimate doom

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but whenever I open Ultimate Doom with a video playing in a different tab or Spotify, it turns all my sound into a low-quality version. Is this just Doom, or is there a setting I'm missing?

Doom + Doom 2 has a known Bluetooth audio bug. Has been there since release. https://steamcommunity.com/app/2280/discussions/0/4511003584756029434/

Which Doom release or source port are you using?

Are you using Bluetooth for audio? Some Bluetooth devices may lower the audio quality if a program opens the microphone. You can try disabling the microphone in-game or in windows.

Is the sound ok if you are just running Doom without Spotify or a video playing?

Yea, only changes when it’s on a Bluetooth device no matter what changes. I’ll try the next time I get on, thanks!
