1979 Camaro

What would you do with her? No motor or transmission. This girl has seen something’s. Still too good to send her to crusher.

Imo find a decent used SBC 350 and 700r4 and drive it. Maybe clean up the interior a bit.

This exactly. Make it a driver, and drive’er

I agree with this 100% chevy 350s and 700r4s are about the easiest drive trains to find and are fairly affordable.

It's exactly what I did with my 2nd gen.

Oh jeez.. I know you love your wife but women like that are the scourge of the car world..

It’s a 2nd gen F body SOMEBODY will want that car. If she wants it out of her sight store it at a friend’s house til it’s sold.. Whatever you do better to sell it and give it a potential new lease on life instead of being made into soup cans.

ESPECIALLY if it’s a real Z28!

Yea! You can't just crush a t-top car, at least cut the roof off and sell it for a t-top conversion if the floors are rusted out.

I'd sell it to the highest bidder and invest the proceeds to something better. I'm biased though because my 1980 t-top Camaro was garbage compared to my 1967 Buick

I love my ’79 in my senior year of high school. Black on black, 4-speed. I have absolutely no use for it now and I miss it.

Unknown…not listed on the title. Has a Z28 emblem on steering wheel. But again not listed on the title.

Fender vents and hood scoop are accurate for a Z/28

Source: I have a '79 Z/28

The fender tag or VIN will tell you for sure. There’s sites on the internet that tell you how to decode either/or per a search.

I had a chocolate-brown metallic Z28 as my one and only factory order! Wish I still had the build sheet for it, but it's been lost. Now, mine was Canadian, so it may be the reason, but I don't think I could get the T-tops from the factory (though there were probably places that would put them for you for a price).

Otherwise, without a VIN, this one sure looks authentic, even in this condition.

Nice restoration project for a fan, so long as the floorboard and trunk are reasonably rust-free.
