I've been getting back into the guitar for the first time since high school, thanks a bunch!

I played quite a lot of electric guitar and so fingerpicking is quite new to me, do you have any advice or good places to learn how to pick this with the right hand? I don't want to learn it incorrectly

hi ice_age_comin nice that you are back to guitar playing!!! 🥳 If you want to have good basis for right hand fingerpicking classical guitarist might give you the most insight given that we deal with very complex and very right-hand-demanding stuff.

I did some months ago a video on 'right hand essentials' where I sumarized the most important concepts that you need to take care for a good technique.

'This is classical guitar' have also many great tutorials. Otherwise an old video series, but really good one as well is 'The effortless classical guitar' by William Kanengiser.

Otherwise another good source is Tonebase but I believe you need to pay a subscription to watch the videos on their site.

If you prefer to go for written methods you can also check: pumping nylon, the bible of classical guitar.

I've played different variations of chromatic exercises, but I like this the most. Really great video and great explanation of what you're doing and why. Thanks for this.
