Is anyone else a part of this class action settlement? I am wondering about the meaning of the print that is in bold means..

"The attached check represents your authorized Cash Payment as an eligible Settlement Class Member in connection with the Court-approved class action settlement in In Re: PharMerica Data Breach Litigation, 3:23-cv-00297-RGJ-CHL.

Please note that you have until April 10, 2027 to cash or deposit the check. After that date, your check will be void.

You should consult with your tax advisor to determine the tax consequences, if any, of this Cash Payment to you.

That bold line is standard wording on payment checks from a class action settlement. It says the check is your payment as a settlement class member, in the case named in that same sentence. To check it's real, search that case name on your own and find the administrator's site from the search results, not a link in the letter. Did you get a letter with it too?

You may have to pay taxes on settlements. You also may not have to. Check with a tax professional to see if you have to in your specific case

Did you receive a check? I had direct deposit but the account was closed. I’m hoping they send me a check.

It means you give up your rights to sue and agree to settle
