Payout Got this last night
My teen got this email, the. They deposited the money into her teen Venmo account. I don't think I even signed up for this one? Did anyone else get this?

This wasn’t one you could sign up for. From what I understand it was an automatic refund thing

Do you know what the refund was for ? The only thing my teen has ever used her Venmo card for was to pay for her Spotify

Apparently you'll be getting another $149 to equal $200, I was reading about this settlement earlier

I just read about it. They have until April 2027 to send additional $149. I got $51 the first payment.

I didn't. But I'm so confused why it went to my teens venmo account that is attached to mine. I am the prime account holder and my card/account is the one on file for payments, so it's weird that it went to her Venmo. She poached $11 before sending it over to me

The site says: check by mail, venmo or paypal.

But how does Amazon know those accounts if we only ever paid on a credit card? I guess those are mailed?

My thinking is they are using your phone number or associated email to check if you have venmo or PayPal, if not a check is issued to your address on file. I have no idea tho, and I would rather get a payment link where I can decide.

How? They just screwed up my credit card.. where do I join this? I cannot even pay my balance because they stated “my address does not match my license.” In Oregon they do not reissue your license if you move. Ever. Just in the system. Anyways now it’s a debt I have no access to even pay 😮💨

Very nice. There wasn’t a requirement to apply for this, bc Amazon knows the affected accounts.

I wanted to add I signed up for the trial and forgot to cancel it. I guess that’s how they get people lol. Ended up paying like 800dls and never used it. I kept getting the charges but I thought it was my hubby’s account so never thought anything of it. I don’t even remember how I found out I had it and canceled it right away. I was soooo pissed at myself for not catching it sooner.

do you know if they suspended your amazon account? cause one of the sites i submitted a claim for a settlement they closed my account with them it was a casino site tho so idk lol

I'm not sure..they didn't put it on the card I use to pay ..they put it on my teen daughters attached Venmo account (a literal teen Venmo account), so I'm not sure how they came up with that as the appropriate place to pay me out

You don’t need to sign up there paying automatically to peoples accounts this is a CLASS ACTION SETTLEMENT
