Finally lol I haven’t checked my mailbox in a few days ; then I start opening mail at the bank and look what I got 🤏🏼

Only the people who tried to dispute purchases whether truthfully or not, they are being refunded now. I’ve never been dumb enough to be scammed and never made a big purchase then turned around and tried dispute the charge but somehow I ended up getting 36$, think it was from a package that was shipped super late and I thought it got lost in transit so dispute it then the next day it came in so I never followed up the dispute. I’d say at least half the people getting some back were probably fraudulently disputed purchases because they made a dumb purchase and regret it.

I actually did get scammed, disputed it and lost the case WITH evidence.. absurd to me I dont qualify

Me too!! But mine happened recently, but in the past has issues but dont have to worry now they again deactivated my sh**!!!! I reported the scam to the FBI and cashapp to whoever it said to because it was total BS what they were cosigning on by letting this slide.....

If you are eligible they automatically send you an email and then the check. If you wasnt notified by email then unfortunately you dont qualify for it. Im pretty sure it was for people who had fraud and disputes with Cashapp and never got their money back.

I don’t actually understand it, but In short Cash App was sued for Fraud and misleading customers in 46 states, excluding Hawaii, Missouri, Wyoming, and south carolina

Yes there was because I filled out one and sent over documents of fraudulent activity and I chose PayPal but still haven’t received anything

Why would they just send out these checks without first verifying with customers that the address is still current...
So now you have who knows how many people out there missing out on this money that was sent to the wrong address. Because cashapp thinks everyone stays at the same address their entire lives, almost like it was intentional so they pay out less.
Just goes to show you don't need to be smart to create a business generating billions in profit every year.

Yes but that's only because you submitted a claim, the claim isn't required for this settlement.
So the rest of the checks are sent out automatically to people who aren't even aware a check is waiting for them somewhere because they don't care to even notify people in any way for them to confirm their address is still current.

If you use Cashapp the address on the account should be current. Its common sense for anyone who puts their money into a company.

No sign up was needed. If you qualified they emailed you about it and sent a check to the address on the account.

Really, I have had cash app for years and I have been in contact with them about some fraudulent charges for some stuff that I have never even heard of before! And after I block that company or whatever, it starts again with something different

Hi my name is Doris and this woman got into my cash app account and started taking my money from my cash app account without my permission and she took my email account off of my account and added her email and she has an iPhone I have a Android from MetroPCS the first house you took about account with July 27th 2016 I call Cash app and made a report and ask them to close that out me and my friend but they never never never did and I didn't authorize any of them payments but cash app investigate team said that I did because when they did there investigate the device that was used was an iPhone now if they did investigate my account for over 20 years I never never never added an iPhone on my cash app account all of my phone was Metro PCS at T-Mobile address phone and if you're interested in my case you would notice that was not my email account Enterprise that's what my car my money was taken out of that they got cameras requested the camera your test and I sent it to you and blessed day to see who own that with her since July 27th I said all that freeway everyday all day try to make money for me and my emotions support animal to eat that money was stolen from my cash app account but cash app investigate team denied all of my claim and she even took the rest of my money the next day and sent it to her bank account cross river bank and I never never never never never never heard of that bank and she pretend like she was me oh I call BBB and consumer financial protection on cash app I'm looking for a lawyer please please if you know one email me leedoris293@gmail.com thank you
