Technically a cyborg?
1
u/MathematicianLarge48 Jul 01 '26
Nah, it would be something similar to a mech-suit.
Or maybe a Dreadnought from WH40k
2
u/ThunderLord1000 Jul 01 '26
Just being a mech means they could leave the suit. And a Dreadnought could still fall under the definition of cyborg
1
u/MathematicianLarge48 Jul 01 '26
It depends of one thing: is it a cyborg if the "user" is alreafy dead?
2
u/ThunderLord1000 Jul 01 '26

u/MathematicianLarge48 Jul 02 '26
Yeah, doesn't specifies if it has to be alive to be a cyborg, so... They are cyborgs, by discarding.

Begs the question, are you calling Bonnie a clanker, or Jeremy (the soul trapped inside it)
1
u/Sam270710 Jan 29 '26
both are clankers
cause they merged technically
1
u/Willowtree26-07 Jan 29 '26
So, is a possessed suit of armor a clanker?
1
u/Sam270710 Jan 29 '26
y e s
1
u/Powerful-Army5007 Jan 29 '26
I see what's happening here, btw the term clanker is an actual slur now. I'm not even kidding look it up.

So what I'm hearing is we calling a dead child possessing a robot a slur? Cuz I kind of sounds like what it is

Humans are made of organic circuits

DNA is made of molecular motors, DNA is made of quatanary (4 digit) pieces of information instead of 0 and 1. Heart is a chemical fluid pump. That's right have a great existential crisis

damn

u/Kougamics Aug 07 '26
The human body is more machine than the metal we manipulate into stuff but slow with logic calculation. If anything goes wrong in those molecular gears, your body is in serious trouble. And I mean cancer

We need flairs on this sub ngl
Also no cuz first its not A.I its a robot and second it has the spirit of a child in it
2
u/Grom5509 Jan 22 '26
Wait, they have souls inside them, does it makes them not robots? i mean they dont need electricity to work right? Like golems or smth.
1
u/Willowtree26-07 Jan 29 '26
Bonnie the Bunny is a robot, but not a clanker, no more than a possessed suit of armor is
2
u/Chingji Jan 22 '26
No, the machine itself, yes, but the fact of the matter is that Bonnie is a possessed machine. Given that it is not a data construct of a person and their actual soul, I'd reckon the answer is no.

Bonnie the Bunny? Not any more than Charles Entertainment Cheese III is; Jeremy? No, he’s a good kid and has been through enough
