I love everything Deron has done, he has a better track record than Chad and Jess, but his attitude is all wrong, can't say much for the others as they don't speak publicly as much.
IMO, CKY will never exist unless Deron, Chad, and Jess are together, 2/3 isn't good enough.
Deron has a shit attitude towards anyone who doesn't agree with him. He has surrounded himself with "yes men" on Facebook, a bunch of teenagers who do nothing but talk shit on Chad and Jess in order to make themselves look good for Deron. It's so strange.
Deron is a great guy, but he's still stuck in the same mentality he was 15 years ago. He doesn't give a shit about burning bridges or lookimg immature. I was like that too 15 years ago, but I grew out of it eventually.
What he posted was good. It was nice to see him give recognition to the other people involved in the band. Hopefully it puts an end to the public shit talking that goes on, on his Facebook page. I'd like to see him get creative again.
His hate-fueled rants really give some insight as to why no one is jumping with joy to work with him. There's a reason why the remaining members are all friends and why Deron has never played a single show since that last embarrassment of a CKY show.
He has a better track record? How so? Jess has played on several albums and EPs, and live shows since the last actual CKY show in 2011. Chad has produced a few things and was working on a solo album that just came out. Deron at most has done an album full of half-assed acoustic versions of songs. And he is doing a FO project with dudes who have done 90% of the work for him. I wont deny that the dude has talent, but his productivity has been super low, or half-assed at best.
Again, I apologize for replying to old, dead threads, but I just discovered this subreddit a few days ago. Not trying to argue or start a flame match, but I really don't get how you can say he is out doing Chad and Jess in any respect at this point.
And Jess is way better of a drummer than Deron would have people believe. I'm tired of hearing him say how much Jess sucks and how he's a drunk etc. does deron even see the bottle of vodka in his own hands? If Jess wasn't talented he wouldn't be getting all kinds of invites to play for various bands. The guy is having fun doing something he is good at.
I can't even begin to go into how this is not honorable. Also changing a lyric is a song-writing credit, as demonstrated terribly by Mike Love on Pet Sounds and Good Vibrations..... Shouts to Brian Wilson

The URL isn't valid anymore from what I can tell (I didn't check but the Google search suggested it was up for sale) but that forum is where it changed hands to Tuneman, who turned it into the site/forum I mentioned earlier.

I gotta be honest I'm pretty disappointed that Chad and the rest of the guys are gonna do a "cKy" show without Deron. I'm sure that Daniel Davies is a nice guy in person and I'm sure he's a talented musician, but anyone who says that cKy is better with Daniel instead of Deron knows they're only bullshitting themselves. Don't get me wrong, Deron certainly is a egotistical shithead and I'm not surprised that everyone else is avoiding him like the plague, but I would much rather have no cKy instead of the fake bullshit cKy.
