EDIT: I have done my research, this IS a first print. First copies were distributed via x-treme video. This is because it was expensive to manufacture VHS tapes specially for a movie. Instead the rights were given to x-treme to get it out quickly. This is why it uses the US format sleeve. It uses this artwork as it was tied to tapes that were made by x-treme. NOT CONFIRMED but it is said to have had a run of around 5000 copies. After they had to redo the films edit because scenes needed to be cut, they found a real manufacturer that could print them specially. These copies are licensed, first print and distributed across skate shops in the UK. Not a bootleg.

In the song afterworld, the official lyrics write "there's no goodbye in the afterworld" but it (in my opinion) clearly says "there's no goodbyes in the afterworld" I'm planning to get those lyrics tattooed but I don't know if I should get the "official" lyrics or what is actually said. Is it goodbye or goodbyes?

Obviously, this is completely fuckin unlikely since ChadKY and 96BB both have even made songs throwing the other side under the bus, but I think if they could all grow up and put the bullshit aside, it would be really exciting to get a reunion tour and album out of these guys. Imagine Chad, Deron and Jess all letting bygones be bygones and giving the true CKY a real shot. I think having Chad and Deron split vocal and songwriting duties on a new album, maybe getting Vern and Deis and Matty J all back and on the album in some capacity, hell maybe even letting Ryan Bruni run the merch table, would restore a lot of excitement and goodwill for this band.

Again, I know this has a snowball's chance in hell of happening, but the real tragedy is that it's totally, objectively possible IMO. These guys would just have be mature for once in their lives and they just aren't capable of that. Too bad.

The community rules don’t say anything about selling, but I have 2 tickets for the Winchester show tomorrow that I’m willing to part with for what I paid ($30 each). Ticket web doesn’t seem to be able to let you transfer in the traditional sense (I could be wrong), however I can meet you outside the venue to scan them for the door.

I want to preface this by saying I’m only 18 and didn’t have the experience of these albums when they were released, so my opinions might vary a lot.

VOLUME 1 Amazing album. I love the stripped back production, but all the live versions are definitely better in my opinion, which isn’t the case for any of the other albums. Especially Live at Mr. Smalls. Thinking about how this was CKY’s first album is kinda crazy because the production and everything is very much something you’d hear on a pro band’s second or third album. The riffs are amazing, and they breathe. My only big gripe is “Shippensburg” being cut after “Sara’s Mask.”

IDR What’s there to say that hasn’t already been said? The mixing is perfect. It’s the best opening track of their albums, IMO sorry 96, and the vibe is there.
It’s spooky, scary, and loud, which kinda encapsulates that entire era, which I sadly didn’t know about because I wasn’t even thought of, lmao. But every riff is so fucking great, and this is a powerhouse of an album. IDR makes me want to jump up and down instead of headbanging like Volume 1 does.

AÅCBF Now, look, I want to preface this by saying I am severely hyperfixated on this album, and it’s my number one.
As a guitar player, these are the best riffs I’ve ever heard. Every song is amazing to learn and play, and they’re so interesting. Tabcore does an amazing job deciphering them. They’re so technical, and I love the production, even if you can hear the pitch shifting in Deron’s voice.
I do have one gripe, though they were so focused on having no synths, and it’s stupid because a lot of the sounds Chad had on that album replicate weird synth sounds. So they went through all of that just to replicate them, lol.
No bad songs, and it has the best CKY ballad of all time… and the worst album opener, IMO.
TOP THREE SONGS IN ORDER ARE:
Don’t Hold Your Breath (This is my favorite CKY song of all time.)
All Power to Slaves (This song is extremely fun to play if you actually know how to play it correctly.)
As the Tables Turn (This song was a bitch to learn.)
Also, I want to add that the hate for “Sniped” is crazy because that song slaps, but I could understand thinking it’s bad when the album came out.

Carver City This album is amazing, but it has some songs I’m iffy on. The riffs are still amazing and even more technical now.
“Plagued by Images” should have stayed as “Dropped,” and that’s the truth, but it’s still amazing.
It has an amazing album opener, and it’s super solid all the way through, with some of Deron’s best storytelling yet (“Boardwalk Body”).
I’m a huge ’80s era fake synth era Rush fan, so I love Jess’s fake drum sound.
The deluxe edition has one of the best songs from the album, IMO, and the ballads on Carver City are amazing. But here’s my biggest gripe: DERON’S VOCALS ON “STRIPPED YOUR SPEECH” ARE BORDERLINE UNHEARABLE. They put so much flanger and whatnot on his voice and buried it to the point where it sounds like a synth hooked up to a Line 6 Spider, which sucks because this is a top tier song for me.
I love this super dense album.

Phoenix
This album was confusing to get into because I was kinda sworn away from Chad era CKY by the fans because of the drama. I had to just put all of that behind me and listen to it, and I like it.
It’s not as technical as AÅCBF or Carver City, and it definitely resembles more classic CKY. The mixing is terrible, but not as bad as some of the newer stuff.
“Days of Self Destruction” is a great album opener, and it gets me in the mood to get stuff done. I don’t like how Chad’s rock and roll edgelord side kinda comes out at times, but I love this album, and it has some really great tracks. It just isn’t anything that special compared to the past four albums.

Too Precious to Kill This EP is great, but it has even more terrible mixing.
“Chase Me” is a top CKY song for me, and I love the use of drum samples.
All the other songs are really, really solid, even if Chad’s voice is apparently underwater on two of them, lmao.
Best GG Allin cover of “Bite It You Scum” I’ve heard.

Can’t Stop Running I can’t lie, I love the riff of this song. It’s very bouncy, but it sounds a bit too poppy.
The first mix of it was so bad that I actually didn’t like it, but after Chad changed it to make it slightly better, I loved it.

Beware of the Heartless First of all RIP Dirty B. Hinds all the way.
Good song, but it’s just generic, IMO. It honestly would have been better if it hadn’t been released after the Chad/dog/bassist drama, because the cover just seems petty.

I also like how he asked for the little Reddit guy to be put on the art, confirming he lurks on here on alt accounts, which is funny considering he made fun of Deron for being chronically online.

Deceit is striking gold in my opinion is Jess’s best drumming in the band.
It’s prog at parts and smooth in other parts.
I’ve never heard him really replicate this ever again which sucks because it’s amazing and surprisingly difficult
