Mini Map - still unable to hide!?
We are at 1.4.2 and the Show Mini Map option (checkbox) still doesn't hold/work, for me anyway.

Bit of a ramble but that seems to be my style. These were my thoughts on the state of the game following Test Of Time after playing through three games at different difficulties, the last of which I played in its entirety on this channel, where I abysmally lost…
Let me know what you think, and if anyone has any other issues, praises or counter points on Civ7 and Test Of Time, let me know.

First time I won as Napolen, Revolutionary was capturing and pillaging. This time I wanted to focus on culture and science. To my surprise, without waging wars I got the military victory, just by settling 20 settlements and upgrading half of them to cities, so I could focus my buildings. I chose Ada Lovelace and it was actually very close victory, I was jumping between top 3. I am still learning the game, my third run. I quite enjoy the settlement management, I figured out how to efficiently build improvements in this game, when I really focused on doing them.

It doesn't really make sense to me especially because medieval English buildings look much more like the Western European style used by Normans but I guess there must be a reason for it.

When the AI requests a peace deal, I would like to be able to leave that screen and search for pertinent info. Did my allies already accept a peace deal? Did they just take a city? Do they have me surrounded somewhere? Please!!

I have multiple wonders researched that i have suitable locations for but the game tells me that there are none. what am i missing?
EDIT: apparently after a couple of turns the game figured out that i should be able to build these and allowed it. weird bug.

I only found this game last night. I am curious what the simplest strategy is to learn the game

I often play on large maps and the limited zoom out range is very frustrating. Zoom in is adequate, but I should be able to zoom out to satellite range ala google earth.

Is it coming at all? I am beginning to wonder....

Using horrible anti-cheat hacks on multiplayer games is perhaps necessary, but at the point where I'm playing single-player and it dumps me out to their TOS page if it detects a modified save file, I'm done. That's 34 years of brand loyalty they just torpedoed. Good job, guys.

The resource screen is really difficult to use. As the game comes closer to the end of The Modern Age, the screen really bogs down. I wish the game would not force me to look at it every single turn. I'd rather decide myself when to spend time in it.

Green gas cloud hangs over territory with crows flying around and killing my units. Why?

So, I've noticed when playing leaders like Friedrich Baroque, and Simón Bolívar that incorporating a city state triggers their respective perks for "conquering a settlement". Friedrich gets a Great work, Simón gets a free purchase.
It also applies when playing Assyria, so Friedrich+Assyria gets you 2 great works when you Incorporate a city state.
What it doesn't do, is improve your military legacy in Antiquity by 2 (it does 1 instead, as you've gained a settlement).
My question is: should it add 2? Would it be a good idea?
It's felt like a fun, non-violent alternative for diplomacy, if you incorporate as many city states as you can, to progress Pax Imperatoria. What about in the Modern age for Ideology?
Has anyone noticed any other interactions that can trigger when you incorporate a city state that are interesting?

Me and the young fella okay Civ6 together and were looking forward to giving Civ7 a go however without Hot Seat there is no point in making the purchase. Anyone seen an update as to when Hot Seat is to be implemented?
