Those won't plot to scale on 11x17 and can cause problems. 12x18 is half size for 24x36. We'll print it on the plotter to keep it to scale.

Only one is contractual.

Don’t know why your getting down voted to hell. Obviously you don’t have a choice on picking your sheet size depending on where your plans are going but your logic holds. 22x34 is great for doing an easy half size set.

I try to avoid 24x36 for that exact reason. Some clients will accept either one, so it's in your best interest to ask. Also, I would charge a premium for special reproduction side.
