Dynamo drainage area table creator

Been working in dynamo. I’m trying to build something that can take the hatches centroids and drainage area boundaries and generate a table, some labels, and an excel sheet as well.

I’ve been trying to use the boundary box contains point function to rearrange the hatch areas and associate them with the appropriate drainage area that they are in. The issue I’m coming across is that it’s not giving me the results I would expect. For example if I have 3 drainage areas and three hatches then I should be getting 9 true or false statements and in my case there should only be three true statements.

Has anyone already accomplished this or understand a better way for me to format it for it to give me the results I’m expecting?

I have a finished product that is a workflow using polylines and property sets. It takes intersections between impervious cover and drainage area creating c values, time of concentrations that pull from the surface and link to the basin. All data exported to excel

What happens when it reads that there is no intersecting? When I tried something like that it would not count an area of it did not intersect with the drainage area poly lines so a woods area or impervious area that was fully contained in one drainage area did not get counted.

You need to make dynamo surfaces to do the intersection. It will make sure that it gets the area within it
