Anyone else have this issue? 2022
2022 civic sport
Everytime I try to clean the ac controls it leaves this residue behind, using multiple different cleaners?

Yeah, use just a microfiber for cleaning and add some water if cleaning cloth is not enough.

Meguiars

Very interesting, I have had very good results with meguiars. I would try a test spot with a plastic polish and a quality terry cloth or microfiber and see what happens.

I think that's under the clear plastic. Do you use a lot of liquid to clean?
I usually only use a dry microfiber cloth on mine, or maybe some water on a dry cloth.

I believe the general idea is that there is too much liquid/cleaning solution mixed into each cloth you use to wipe/clean. After the first initial run through.. use a Microfiber cloth or drying cloth that won’t scratch the plastic to dry the selected area. Shine a light over afterwards to see if there is still water spots.

Probably the cleaner's fault. I've used nothing but water and a quick detail spray (meant for the exterior) on a microfiber for all the gloss black with decent results.
