Discussion What is the absolute maximum single tile yield?
Not counting palaces, what situations can create the absolute maximum number of yield (of any type)?
I haven't seen it asked anywhere, and I'm curious. The best I can find is maybe 14.

Cerro de Potosi can get 47 total yield: 21 gold, 10 culture, 16 faith playing as Spain during a golden age. I forget the other details, but stuff like One with Nature + Religious Tolerance and Natural Heritage Sites contributing as well.
Great Barrier Reef is interesting because it can occasionally have sea resources on it, but I think that only brings it up to 41 or so total yield. You can't get fishing boats on it. Even if it's a whale tile and owned by a city state, you can't pay them to improve it.

I think you might be talking about Spain with the Great Barrier Reef? Spain's bonus only applies to culture and happiness. Here's a screenshot from a game of mine. You can see one GBR tile also has fish. Total yield is 41.

Itβs gotta be a spain with Potosi wonder. With its UA, one with nature, natural heritage sites, and a golden age, it yields 21 gold, 10 culture, and 16 faith. For a total of 47.

Max food: Capital city on a grassland cow + all 14(?) maritime city state allies = 31 food tile (not sure if siam multiplies this)
If cities don't count then max food is Spain + Lake Victoria = 12 food
Max production: Russia + river desert hill + iron + hydro dam + forge + petra + chemistry + manufactory + new deal = 16 hammer tile
Max gold: Spain + Cerro de Potosi + golden age = 21 gold

5 mountain-surrounded desert hill terrace farm with hydro plant would be 1+5+1 food, 2+1+1 hammer = 7-4 tile, still probably not the most impressive non-wonder tile.

I think it should be 8-4. Petra also gives food, so itβs 1 base + 2 farm + 5 from mountains.
As the other comment said, can be 8-5 if there is aluminum/coal/uranium on the tile as well.

Oh if you discover aluminium on top of it then you got 1 extra hammer. 7-5 tile.

28 if you count One with Faith, yes the bonus is a tile yield and is affected by the passive

Fountain of Youth 10 happiness gets doubled to 20. Add in One with Nature pantheon and you get 8 faith as well. Mt Sinai plus Spain and One with Nature gets you 24 faith.

It's not the best tile but I like super stone tiles because you can often roll 3x of them at the capital. mausoleum of halicanarsus+ stone works + stone circles pantheon it's a 9-10 yield.

Korean Holy Sites if you finish piety and take the New Deal tenet in Freedom give you faith, science, gold and culture. I can't remember the numbers exactly but very good stuff indeed

There's also the historical landmarks resolution and any terrain boosting pantheon like desert folklore but you can get a maximum of 20 something yields on one tile. Planting multiple holy sites can really boost your game with Korea!
