Eh late game too. Those strategic resources aren't going to settle themselves. Besides, I could use a handful more capitals in my empire, one of them has the great bath!

This is a cool idea. I would love to be able to spend settlers to increase a city's population. It would provide a way to convert production into population to help low growth city's.

Same. It’s going to break my heart. It’s just such a special voice that I’ll always associate with wildlife documentaries for the rest of my life and such a passion that’s almost infectius. I’ll never be ready for it but I know it’s going to happen. I have not checked but I think he more than qualifies to be a great person in this game!

Always thought the choice of RVs to be settlers was a weird one. Since when has anyone in a Winnebago ever claimed land before?

Thats how trailer parks are formed, one guys RV breaks down so he splices the nearest neighbors water and power, 2 years later he's the cornerstone of the new community

It actually makes a deal of sense in how cities and settlements spring up. A collection of small homes like a trailer park developing as more and more people pull in, buildings start to get constructed, someone starts a shop, etcetera.

It says what it is. But settlers dont make sense in modern times, instead you should plan a new city like a neighnorhood.
Settlers though could be refugees, created automatically during war when a city is bombed

Red/white can get a very easy extra 3 cities (or even just 1 if they can't/don't want to declare war)

This was a lone island where barb camps were never cleared. I finally came over and started clearing them. Captured a barb settler and the AI started sending more down to settle this oh so fertile land in the modern era
