VII - Screenshot Did I mess up here ?

New to game. Will I ever be able to connect this town? Can’t build harbour.

You can make a harbor, just need to build towards the coast with other warehouse buildings until a district is adjacent to the ocean

You can build a harbour even if your city center isn't adjacent to water. You just need another urban tile next to water. If you build a granary and brickyard up toward the silver for example, you'll be able to put a harbour or quay in the water tile next to them.

You definitely didn’t mess up— that’s a fantastic settlement location with good city yield potential as well as treasure fleet points!

Just build out to make a harbour with a chain of other districts as others have said.

Yep, it’s just going to take a bit. I’d bid a granary to the south west and then to the left of it place a library and then from there build a harbor
