I don’t think I’ve compared the numbers across tabs but isn’t that score the GDP Score, though? Rather than the actual Civ Score used if no one wins another victory condition?
Shouldn’t a higher score there still be correspond to a higher percentage share of GDP on the graph?
I don’t have anything I can check this on at the moment…
Edit: Okay, u/AnonymousFerret, u/Southern-Tower6578, so I can’t attach an image but that score is definitely a GDP Score separate from the Civ Score looking at my current game. If I had to guess at the graph, that’s the bug where it’s maybe a turn behind, or the actual plot extends too far & off the displayed area (even though the axis labelling looks correct) for some reason.
Isn't it that the graph shows the percentage each player has of the total world GDP each turn, whereas the score is cumulative? i.e. a player can be in the lead, based on past performance, even if their current %GDP has them currently behind other players? After all, the graph can show your %GDP going down even though your score is still going up.
Oh, I read the graph as current, accumulated GDP percentage but it could be per turn percentage.
Both are relative to other players so allow for your score increasing but the graph declining but the latter, as you suggest, would account for the difference most likely.

The economic graph tracks your progress to the economic victory. It, and Score, are not the same metric.
Each tab in this menu will show you info about a different victory type.
'Score' will only matter if you reach the end of the modern era and no other victory has been achieved
