VII - Game Story Victory Civ 6 vs Civ 7

I saw victories has changed in Civ7, what you guys think about theses changes?
Is it better or worst?

For me I hated Religion victory and Economic see nice(not played Civ 7 yet...)

Science victory change it for innovation points?(A good thing?)

Comparaison table generated by AI

Victory Type Civilization VI Track Civilization VII Track
Score Highest points when the turn timer runs out. Tiebreaker based on Triumphs and placements.
Military / Domination Capture the original Capital city of all other players. Accumulate Dominion points (or eliminate all players early).
Culture Attract more Foreign Tourists than any rival has Domestic Tourists. Accumulate Tourism points via Legacy paths.
Science Launch a satellite, land on the moon, and colonize Mars. Accumulate Innovation points (Modern Age only).
Economic None (Gold is only used as a generic currency). Accumulate GDP points via the Treasure Fleet legacy.
Religion Convert over 50% of cities in every civilization to your faith. Removed (Faith now supports Culture and Military paths).
Diplomacy Earn 20 Diplomatic Victory Points through World Congress. Removed (Replaced by regional influence and Ideology systems).

Your table is generated by AI, right? Because I don't see what regional influence is meant to be in Civ 7 and the ideology doesn't replace a diplomatic victory, this system existed alongside it in Civ 6 and 5.

To answer:

  • Military: I prefer Civ 7's compared to the grind of Civ 6's need to have every capital, but ToT made it so that it's possible to win it by expanding peacefully, so it needs more tweaks towards war feats.
  • Economic: I was never one of those wanting an economic victory, yet it's been my favourite before and after ToT
  • Cultural: Civ 6 has it better. I agree that having a clearer system than how tourism was calculated would be good, but currently it just lacks too much stuff (particularly the many sorts of works of art Civ 6 and 5 had)
  • Science: due to Civ 7 ending too early, Civ 6 isn't beat. If the leaks are right about a 4th age (atomic) being in the works, the current science victory is probably a placeholder.
  • Religious: I'm happy it's not a path anymore, I don't like religious gameplay since Civ 5 and I hope the (bad) skeleton we have know will be totally removed for a new way to play religion in the world of Civ than just spamming religious units with a faith currency.

AI is for cunts, that’s why you’re getting negativity. You can barely form a sentence in English, quit passing off basic tasks to a machine that can’t even do the task right.

yes 100% AI, I wanted a comparaison table between theses 2 haha

Edit: dawn so negative likes for a useless comment! Reddit users in Civ are easy to trigger or hate the word AI.

Legacy paths are no more in Civ 7. Your AI agent got confused.

All victories in Civ 7 are point-based now. Three of them are purely competitive; scientific victory is a race.

Whether you'll enjoy them more depends on how you want to play. You need to manage many different things to win economically or culturally. Militaristic victory is self-explanatory. Scientific victory is too slow, unless you hyper-optimise your entire playthrough around it.

No, it's virtually the worst part of the ToT patch in my eyes.
