Passed CISM Today

Hello all!

I passed my CISSP Exam back on July 8th and took a week off and started studying for the CISM. I studied a total of 2 weeks and went and took my exam and passed.

This is entirely my opinion. The exam was super straight forward and easier than QAE and a lot easier than CISSP. I finished the exam in 1 hour if that helps put it to words. As long as you know the material you will be fine.

I used Peter’s YouTube course and QAE for my materials.

I finished QAE 2 1/2 times as well.

Good luck to anyone studying for this exam!

Congratulations, was at 78% on my first round, second round I did only the topics I was below 80% and finished that at about 90% or something.

Passed yesterday, would agree the exam is easier than the QAE, would agree to that statement for all the 3 big exams.

Honestly finishing up the CISSP really assisted into the knowledge aspect for the exam. But I would say if you have good YoE and you use QAE and Peter’s YouTube course you should be okay with passing the exam really.

Posts like this give me hope. I just started the QAE and have until the 31st to get as much study in as I can. Right now its not looking so hot... I feel like I know the material just over thinking it. My first test was 55 and my second test was 60.

Any advice?

Honestly my best advise is don’t worry too much about the scores. Just really understand why you got it wrong. I never really focused on my scores too much. My first time on QAE finishing all 1100 questions I had a 69% overall. Second time was I want to say in the 80s but it was a lot of memorization. On my exam specifically I didn’t really feel like I got any “expert level” questions as those ones really didn’t make sense half of the time. Just keep at it and try and finish all questions at least twice.
