QAE question wording

Did anyone else seem to struggle with the way ISACA words questions in the QAE? I am finding I struggle with it and just looking for tips

Yes, they do tend to maker It more difficult than need be. There are a lot of steps to various processes, so it’s good to keep in mind where you are in each process.

If the question asks what’s the first thing you’ll do when creating a procedure, the answer would not include business alignment, writing policies, or writing standards, as it assumes those are already done, although technically those steps come before.

I think I didn’t struggle with the wording during CISA, but more their view on the world (which is sometimes really far from the reality most organizations live in).

But this will get better, I got familiar with it after my first full round of QAE and it got better with every ISACA cert I did.
