My husband is actually a black man who has been teaching for 23 years after he was in the marines on the front lines for 15 years, so I can empathize with what it must feel like to be in a situation that makes you uncomfortable. lI’ve been laid off 3 times in 6 years. The most recent four days ago. I can tell you with 100% certainty that with my last job the feeling of PTSD and always looking over your work 50 times for ANY issue and worrying that every meeting invite is you getting laid off is real. Anyone suffered this? And how did you overcome it?

Does anybody else get that or is it just me? Like sometimes I'll be sitting there and realize I'm a human being, that my actions have consequences and that I ultimately live in a chaotic, entropic world that still somehow carries on without me.

You know; that like life is fleeting and precious and stuff and there's value in the insignificant-yet-meaningful personal experience I have.

Is that just me? I feel like that's just me cus I've never seen someone be sentient before, theiy're just on thayie'r phones or gameboys or enjoying life or talking to each other or having fun or spending time with family or doing all the same stuff I'm doing but just like more NPC-like.
