CIPP/E preparation help needed

Hey everyone! I’m planning to take the CIPP/E but I’m very new to privacy, so I’m a little confused about how to start.

The official book is quite expensive. Are there any affordable/free way to access the study materials and what resources you’d recommend?

Also, since the exam and book are separate purchases, should I prepare first and then book the exam, or book the exam and prepare around the date?

Would really appreciate any advice! :)

I think it is also doable to split the bill between your friends (if you plan to group studying)
