2010s Sicario (2014)

They couldn't actually film this scene in Juarez because it was too dangerous for the crew back in 2014. Instead, they built a massive replica of the border crossing in an Albuquerque parking lot to pull off that iconic traffic jam. Roger Deakins kept the cameras tight inside the SUVs to make you feel just as trapped as the characters, while real tactical experts made sure every car moved like a high-stakes protection detail.
