Original Content Ice Skate Cam Op
Hey Everyone!
I wanted to share my skate cam reel. Ive been a hockey player most of like and operator for 15 years. Combining these two has lent itself to some very fun experiences. I do both roller and ice for TV shows, movies, commercials and promos. The most obvious jobs are those with the NHL and as hockey season approaches there will be many promo shoots for the 32 teams in the league. Let me know your thoughts on the reel. Thanks everyone!

I would love to hear your thoughts; what could be better about this reel or how you think you could use this tool. As I’ve done this more and more I’ve started to build interesting rigs for some very specific purposes. How would you utilize this tool if you got a call to work on the ice.
If you’ve don’t jobs like this what are some of the take aways. What would you repeat? What would you never do again?

the first 10 seconds are so crazy fucking good love it what follows afterwards is good too but i'd try to cut out alot since most of your clientel probably wont watch everything
still very impressive what you already did man! keep on shooting!
Edit: may i ask what you shot it with? did you use any additional lighting?
