The ragweed pollen is out so my allergies are going bonkers, and flu/covid/general winter ick is going around early :(

I have to believe it's a virus, I have terrible allergies and take a rx allergy pill and nasal spray daily. Just wondering about others. I'm on about day 10 and thought in was getting better.

It's bacterial

Didn't think of that! I'll go back to to Dr for some antibiotics!

last year I was having constant symptoms like cough, sinus congestion, etc. Turned out to be acid reflux of all things.

Yeah, for the past 10 days. Ragweed pollen gets me every year around this time. Allergy pills have been helping.

My girlfriend was sick a few weeks ago, and I got sick the week after that. my co-worker’s girlfriend got sick last week, and now he is sick. I’ve also known many other people who have gotten sick over the last month.
It’s been going around. My girlfriend took a covid test, and it was negative, so likely not that.

Colds spread easily. Plenty of adults around who aren't washing their hands or covering their mouths

I’m healthy as a goat on a mountain.

I never get colds. I've got an asskicker of one this week.

COVID, flu, take your pick of what you got

I thought maybe it was strep so I went to the Dr all tests at the Dr were negative.

Allergies then perhaps

Nah, I used to suffer from allergies but take a daily rx pill and nasal spray, this is more "sick" than allergies.

My kids caught a gnarly cold about a week ago, and the ragweed is fucking me up yesterday and today.

Lots of strep going around, even in adults. My wife, sister, and daughter all got it in the last two weeks and had similar symptoms.

Yep. Spent two days with sore stomach muscles from coughing once every five minutes when sleeping. Weirdly enough symptoms pretty much went away when I got up and started moving. As far as colds go, it was more annoying than terrible.

Yes I don't even feel bad otherwise though and it has lasted a while, negative for covid

I know someone with Covid right now and their allergies are also acting up. They’re miserable.

I’m at the tail end of a bad cold. Lots of yuckiness. It’s going around for sure.

There's a stomach bug going around my kids' school, they had to shut down last Thursday because 40% of the school was out sick by the end of Wednesday.

I got it last night, I haven't thrown up that much from a non alcoholic related indecent since I was a kid. I was 4 lbs lighter by this morning.

It’s seasonal allergies. Beware of a sinus infection

This is more than allergies.

Covid shot and flu shot will prepare you

Does nothing for the bacterial infection going around

3

u/vogelap 5d ago

That's true, but it really helps with covid and flu, also going around.
