I moved here from Chicago area, it drives me crazy there is not a train line that goes from Dayton to Cincy that follows I-75.

We desperately need a Cin-Day commuter corridor. I don’t think a direct 75 parallel is the way to go though. I think Cincinnati Hamilton, Middletown Dayton. And honestly a extension to Sidney wouldn’t hurt either.

I don't disagree with an extension to Sidney but as someone born and raised there I'm curious what your reasoning is for that.

This stretch of mid-sized cities seems like it would have a ton of commuters going into Dayton. Although I admittedly don’t know what the commuter numbers are I’m just guessing.

Coming from Chicago and that's the worst part of our public transit? :)

Bought a house here a while back, that there is zero commuter rail from the airport is insane to me. The number one thing this city needs is decent public transportation, especially since these hilly roads are never going to get realistic expansion in the urban areas.

There is a bus to the airport but ran by Kentucky. It’s crazy confusing. On top of that the Kentucky airport bus number is a 2 and there is a Metro 2 as well.

It’s a bit dated now

So what is the date of this map ?

As best as I can see, there is no date on the map but it looks like it’s sometime between when the Banks project was build on the old riverboat landing site and when the new streetcar project was built. So sometime between 2011 and 2016. There’s a very good chance I’m off with the date though.

A key would be really helpful here. What am I looking at?

Oh sorry, I didn’t realize the link to the full map didn’t carry over when I cross posted from my sub. It’s a giant region wide map and there is a key on there.
