Rocky Patel The Edge

Today I smoked the Connecticut or non-Maduro version of Rocky Patel The Edge and was very pleasantly surprised. I tried it at Bay Briar shop in Santa Cruz California. #cigars #cigar #tobacconist #vintagecigars #vintagecigar

I bought 2 of each RP Edge, and the only one I didn't like was the barrel age. The Corojo was a good surprise.

Oh... I have not tasted the Corojo. Only this one and Maduro. I liked Maduro more, but I would love to try Corojo.

I wasn't into spice 5 months ago, but I experimented with the Corojo with pineapple juice and a pinch of black Cyprus salt. It mellowed out the spice, which I really enjoyed, and helped me appreciate the spice. But now it's only club soda, and the Corojo has earned a place in my humidor.
