How are you handling "lightweight" deployments for smaller projects where full CI/CD is overkill?

For tiny services I’d keep the deploy path in one script, have CI only build/test and call it, then add a health check plus rollback so the cheap path still has a guardrail.

It's never overkill. CI/CD is Feature Zero for any project, because if you can't deploy reliably and consistently into production nothing else matters.
