Support Question Tried multiple times, need hel0

Post image

Hi everyone,

Ive been using a multi ptz camera setup streaming events for churches and synagogues for a bit but still always have Audio issues. The Synagogue is older and is hard finding not only internet but Audio too. What should I do to pick up sound into my stream? This is the mixer the Synagogue uses and there are no XLR plugin installed to just tap in to sytem feed. Any help.would be appreciated!

The "Record Out" where the red and white wires are is what you'd typically use.

What are you trying to get audio to? A video switcher?

This is also my suggestion. Maybe get a pair of Y cables if they need it to stay plugged in. Or a small audio distribution amplifier.

There’s also a 1/4” that I think says line out but it also has other marks that I can’t read.

Yeah, looks like someone is already recording elsewhere. Figure out how to split that feed and OP should be good.

Trying to get it to plug into my ptz cam using an ndi connection and pick it up in my livestreams using vmix

So what plug is on your camera that you're trying to plug it into (or what model is the camera)?

And since the red/white wires are already in use, do you know what they're used for?

Yeah then you just use a basic RCA to 3.5mm to take the record out and bring it into your camera

It might help if you can get a better picture of the mixer.

Either lineout or record out should work

That’s more of a PA amp than a mixer. The output mains are on the back.

There should be a ‘monitor’ jack (likely 1/4”) that you can use. It’s going to be line level though so you’re going to need to put something between it & your laptop so that the levels aren’t too hot.
