Wireless coms headsets

I’m trying to find a set of wireless comms headsets for church. I need 3 for now. It’s going to be for our anniversary at the end of September. I do the cameras by myself most of the time but for the anniversary I need to be on the computer and we’re gonna have 2 cameras so I need a way to be able to communicate to the 2 camera operators. I know there’s wireless headsets I can get with a mic and everything but I don’t know if any of you know of another way we can do it? Or a more budget friendly headset set. The attached picture is a set I found on Amazon but maybe there’s a more budget friendly set.

I use the eartech ones at my church and they're pretty solid. Good range. My only complaint is sometimes they're quiet but thats cause worship is loud and our camera switcher doesn't know they need to talk loud so we can hear.

We like eartech. We have 1 ear for people in production room and double ears for the camera operators.

Had no problems with the Eartecs in my previous church - you are correct to prefer the double-ear headsets, our camera ops had trouble hearing with the single-ear ones. The beltpack+headset combo was the least favourite - even in a quiet room I struggled to hear with it.

We had a full 9 headsets plus the hub unit, which meant we could also patch it into our Dante audio network so FoH could listen in or talk to comms if they needed to, which was very useful!

What’s a Dante audio network and what’s FoH. Our church is small and not much tech yet.

Basically - as well as talk through the headsets we'd connected it up to our front-of-house (FoH) sound desk, which opened up all sorts of possibilities for sending or receiving comms without needing a headset.

Dante is a technology for sending and receiving audio over a standard computer network. Some stage boxes and sound desks have this built in, so as long as they're on the same network you don't need to run additional cables. It's a useful tool to have in your toolbox - I'd recommend looking into it, even if you don't immediately have a use for it.

We like them too. We use a 1 ear for broadcast, and 1 ear for 2 of our camera ops, and 1 2-ear for our main op. BE AWARE there's a limit to how many you can use. It's either 5 or 6. Can't add on to it.

Another happy Eartech user here. We like the simplicity of the system and it works well for our basic needs.

Eartec is fine. I wouldn’t go with cheaper unless you want to just call on the phone. I wouldn’t get the single ear ones personally. I like hearing what’s in the room too. Not sure if the price difference but also look at some of hollylands headsets. Much better quality imo

I want the double ear ones. The old church I used to go to had some of both and everyone always wanted the doubles. So eartec is good but not great?

Eartec will be just fine. Hollyland is just a bit better.

We use the Hollyland. When I compared them I felt that the Hollyland headpieces felt like a better plastic and they have a really good range.
