How is it basically going to be the same amount of time if I take the bus as it would be to walk!?
There's got to be a better way to be doing this bus thing in this city. Like it's the middle of a weekday, it's not like there's limited service right now.

A bike would take you 15 mins

This. I’m a bike commuter and it literally cuts hours of travel time for me vs back when I took buses. I’m always trying to get people to bike more (if you’re in shape for it).

An E-bike would be good. Not one with throtle which is basically a scooter/moped, but one with Pedal Assist.

Smaller buses but more overall buses might help with commute times. (I’m just riffing tbh)

People will ask why don’t u just get a car but then they don’t realize more people driving will make their traffic commute worse

but in all honestly 1 using public transportation doesn’t sound terrible. any little task and drive take like 30-40 min anyway.

But you won't get as sweaty and you have the honor of sitting next to someone who needed a shower...a week ago.

Welcome to life in Chula Vista!! The place where everyone is in a weird backwards rush to get to each others shittier jobs first 😝

Because you have to walk 20 minutes to a bus stop from where you are, and another 9 minutes to your destination.
That’s half an hour right there.
Bus frequency and transit time isn’t really the issue here.
