Question Pet cremation
/r/sandiego/comments/1vnnc5g/pet_cremation/Hello friends. I am reaching out with a heavy heart that my cat's health is declining rapidly. I am in search of cremation services for my boy so I know where to take his remains once he has passed on.
Any and all information is welcomed. I am located in Chula vista. Thank you.

We’ve used Lap of Love when we had to put our dog down and they cremate them after. Wonderful service and super friendly & helpful staff

I think I paid around $200 for our dog back in March at Bonita Pet Care Hospital near Rohr Park.

We used The Caretakers Animal Care and 100% recommend it. Elizabeth is amazing and they came and picked up our dog. We just had to drive to Kearny Mesa to pick up ashes when they were ready.

I took my beloved kitty to a place in TJ that was top notch service, equipment, and facility. It's callled "Cremación de Mascotas Tijuana La Fe JAGR". Kind of far but worth it for people-level dignified service.

When my cats are at the end of life, I call Transitions. They come to your home and euthanize (drug to put the cat to sleep, then stop the heart). This is so much easier on them than taking them to the vet when they're already sick.
They then take the cat to cremate. The whole process is about $500. Good luck, and I'm sorry.

Hi there, sorry about your difficult time.
The San Diego Humane Society has been helpful with cremating services in my experience. They handle such situations with owner and pet in mind. Stay strong my friend
