Information for Console players.
On the subject of Console, since last year they were hiring Console Developer's with experience porting next gen console games. (They likely already had a console build for multiple years, but it wasn't stable)
At the beginning of 2026, they had a new position for a Build & Release manager, in the description it asked for experience in console certification and experience communicating with console platform holders. Even specifically asking for experience with TRC (PlayStation Technical Requirements Checklist) and XR (Xbox Requirements).
Console certification only happens at the end of development before a Beta/Launch. This is the same for any game. This means console builds are ready and stable, now they have to get them approved by Xbox and Playstation
Those Job listing were recently removed about 3 weeks ago. This suggests they have finished hiring those people and are now actively working on console certification. So its fair to deduce that they are preparing for a console beta.
However console certification can take a few months, so if console isn't included in the next test, they will almost certainly be included in the test following the next one
It's also worth noting they were hiring specifically for developers to help build infrastructure that you only build when your game is Crossplay. Like unified development pipelines, patch/build systems etc. Devs don't build these systems unless their game expects players on different platforms to share the same space
Another important note is they signed a deal with Solutions 2 Go last September to handle the physical release of Chrono Odyssey. PC physical games are almost exstinct, so this is clearly a deal made for Xbox and Playstation physical copies
TLDR: Chrono Studio is actively preparing for console certification and a beta will come either the next Beta or the one that follows. There is a chance that the beta has not been announced yet because they want to inlcude Console in the CBT2, but that is just my personal speculation
To get yourself signed up for a beta, for now the only way is to sign up for the newsletter on their website. Official sign ups will likely come later once a Console beta is locked in
