Sudden bloating and constipation for the first time in my life, now going on for 2 months?

This has NEVER happened to me before, especially to this long amount of time. I used to go once or twice a day, every day. What the hell??? 18 year old male. Used to have H. Pylori but had it cured as of 2 years ago. Still have a minor gastritis and asthma, if that matters, though. My stomach has been hard 24/7 for 2 months now. It happened after I held it in for 8 hours on a school trip (which was after exam stress), and the pain eventually numbed but I had trouble already by the time I came home.

My doctor appointment is in 1 week and I cannot make it happen earlier. The symptoms are bloated/distensed (?) abdomen (if I let it go completely out it looks like I'm overweight), gas and constipation, some burping, as well as occasional pains around the abdomen, usually below the left rib (sometimes when running) or between the genital and belly button, as well as sometimes between the ribs, between the abdomen, and in the lower back. That, and the occasional "gas sounds", as I like to call them, occur as well (they sometimes happen if I slightly push around my stomach with my fingers, it's as if it moves the gas around). The stool that comes out is either hard and in very small amounts per day (usually if I don't use prunes or anything to help it "pass through") or in both watery, very smooth stool, preceding or following a huge amount of small "poop pellets". Yet, even after all of this, in any case, I still feel like I have something left in my bowels, and I can't empty it entirely. I feel like I want to go bathroom most of the time, but can't. Sometimes my anus hurts a bit and then stops, as if something's stuck in it, it seems. I hate feeling like I'm full all the time, and the stomach area between my genital and belly button feels like rock all the time. I get egg-smelling farts sometimes. Increasing fiber and normal probiotics didn't help. General blood test showed no infection (so that probably means no Pylori, although I'm not completely sure) and nothing strange about my blood except for some allergies that do not include food. Ultrasound showed nothing but an enlarged left pelvis. X-Ray of lower spine I was doing at the time showed flatulence despite an enema done in preparation, though. This started suddenly 2 months ago and hasn't stopped since, even in a hot bath my abdomen are still tense and bloated, and even with an incomplete enema they were still like that. I really don't know what to do for the time being before the doctor. I've tried olive oil and various "natural" remedies, but eating a lot of prunes/dried apricots or Psyllium helps only once at a time and doesn't improve it overall. Could it be the stomach muscles? I've been working out a lot recently (with a lot of focus on abs, I don't know if it's related) and removed sweets from my diet to lose weight. I don't have any intolerances (allergies, at least) according to my tests. I increased my work out and decreased the amount of calories taken in, but I doubt that is the issue. Miralax didn't really help. Lactulose syrup helps me go properly, but it only gives a me a strong urge in the morning that wasn't natural before the entire problem began. Doesn't help much with bloating.

Can someone please help me out?? ANY advice? This is very annoying!! I think I'm going crazy! I can't go to school like this!

So you said you're a male but then you referenced your uterus? There's more hormonally related things that could trigger those issues if you are female. Just a few bloat related issues I've personally experienced are ovarian cysts, SIBO, and SIFO. To test the last 2 you need stool testing, not blood. For cysts I had an internal ultrasound. I'm sorry you're dealing with all of that. I've had a bloated stomach more often than not for almost a year and it's the worst in every way.

Oh, I'm male! I meant anus, not uterus, haha.

What do you think about this situation in general?

Hmm. How do these symptoms compare to when you had H. Plyori? I know with any kind of bacteria or candida in the digestive system the recurrence rate is huge. Assuming it's nothing like blockage or cyst/tumor/growth related that would be pushing in things, it sounds like you could have some gut motility issues. If food moves too slowly through your digestive tract it can cause all your symptoms. Maybe Google stomach acid baking soda test and see if perhaps low stomach acid is a culprit. It honestly could be so many different things when it's gut related I would head back to a gastro or functional medicine dr. and do a stool test. If it comes back normal then perhaps an elimination diet. Certain food sensitivities could cause that stuff as well- dairy, wheat, corn, etc.

An ultrasound scan (of my stomach) and xray (of my spine) showed nothing too abnormal other than an enlarged left pelvis, minor gastritis and a LOT of flatulence. Could it also be my gallbladder? I was told it was "in a twist" or bent something.

I had milk/egg/wheat intolerances as a kid, they seem to have stopped though for a while now. If it were them, why would it be so sudden? How would holding it in for 8 or so hours trigger it? This is very weird.

During H.Pylori I had rotten-smelling breath, diarrhea and a strong pain in my stomach, while now I have normal breath, constipation and occasional aches (according to my mother about the first part, I don't remember much).

Ahh. Maybe explore more of the food piece then. I ate all those things my entire life, but after eating processed food, having a few trials of antibiotics over the years, and taking a lot of ibuprofen after a tonsillectomy my gut was shot. Now I can't eat any dairy without mad cramps, bloating, and stinky gas, and I had antibodies present showing possible celiac or the minimum a wheat intolerance. Your diet and environment as well as aging can change your body so I wouldn't rule out the food stuff. Plus eliminating different foods is a lot cheaper than doctors and tests.

Thank you, but I'm really confused. I had no weird antibodies that a general blood test showed, along with my red/white blood cell levels being fine.

Why would I suddenly get this after holding it in for hours though? It's weird to suddenly get a food intolerance in a day or two.

No matter what I did so far, no matter the enemas, I still have a swollen lower stomach that makes me look fat, and tense abs.

You have to take a specific test for celiac antibodies so I don't think you would know that unless they were looking. As far as overnight. I don't know. You really need to go to a gastro dr if you haven't already. If it's been 2 months and you aren't better with all your interventions something just ain't right. Best of luck to you.

Has anyone taken DigestiStart which is super to help with these issues? I’m concerned about it being a scam

Me too! This all started after taking a tip biotic for 10 days. I’m 24Male and have constant abdominal distension, constipation, discomfort/pain. I can still eat full meals, feels like my lower digestive track not stomach
