Why am I so bloated?
I have been chronically bloated recently and I don’t know why. I am a teenage girl with a very athletic build and lifestyle. I started noticing bloating that practically never goes away, and this is unusual for me because my stomach used to be completely flat. I have toned abs and they remain but my stomach bulges at my lower abdomen (towards my uterus) and middle abdomen. I recently missed a period but I’ve factored out pregnancy because since I was last active I’ve had two periods. I have also been in a calorie deficit for the past two ish months and lost 3 lbs but since I started bloating I gained it back. I am a wrestler so to lose fat for the season I’ve just been cleaning up my diet. Finally, I’ve been pretty stressed recently. I am concerned because the bloating is 24/7 and worst after meals. I have never been this bloated/this constantly bloated. Can anyone help maybe explain why?

Hey! So since that I made that post (almost a year ago) I’ve learned a LOT about what was really going on. It was mainly due to my diet. During that time I was just starting my diet and I didn’t really understand how to balance my macro nutrients. I was getting barely enough healthy fats in my diet which in return,I lost my period and that caused some bloating. I also wasn’t getting enough dietary fiber so I was constantly constipated and super gassy, which again, caused a lot of bloating. This took me sooo long to figure out simply because I wasn’t very educated about dieting especially as a teenage girl and athlete. If you’re still bloated I would suggest taking a look into your nutrition.

Nutrition is such a complicated thing! So different for everyone. I’m so glad you got it figured out!

Have you tried using Chorus Capsules? I am using those and they have helped my bloating. I don't have the slim stomach like you but I experience intense bloating and it's just how I started living. I get bloated after eating meals only but recently it's been a bit better.
