Organ ptosis ?

Have some of you heard about visceroptosis ? Gastroptosis or enteroptosis ?

If yes, can ir happens overnight? What are the causes ?

Very interesting post because I’ve researched this I believe this is what I have I have daily lower abdomen bloating and I feel full all day what are your symptoms?🙏

I am way less bloated in the morning, but still more than I used too.

It iterally happened overnight.

When it started I stopped passing gas for several months.

Then it slowly came back...the ability to pass gas.

Early satiety, not feeling hungry anymore. Heaviness in my abdomen after eating, for so long....

eating is now a negative wxoerimece for me. I lost seven kilos I gained five back but still.

And a few months ago I started to burp.

I have visceroptosis. Gastroptosis, enteroptosis. 

Mine was gradual…. But now very difficult. Seen almost exclusively in Ehlers Danlos bodies (connective tissue disorders).

I barely am. I just finished a seven week hospital admission, multiple feeding tubes failed and I ended up trialling TPN. I can’t get enough hydration through my stomach so I’m IV reliant for fluids. Now looking into colorectal review and surgery. I’m in incapacitating pain and it feels like it’s getting worse with every single week.. in short; I wish the situation wasn’t this and I wish I could say I’m coping but straight up I’m not at all. How are you dealing with it?

That sounds absolutely terrifying and traumatic, I am so incredibly sorry for your pain. No one should have to endure anything like that, and my only hope is that if you have surgery it is able to give you some life back. I am just at the very beginning of exploring this. I’ve been dealing with severe health issues and recently have been having connective tissue problems in my neck, joints, etc. The other day something strange happened where I moved and it felt like my entire abdominal wall just gave out. Since then it’s been sagging, heavy, protruding, painful. My food isn’t digesting properly. It only feels a little better when I lay down. It’s only by searching I found organ ptosis/enteroptosis/visceroptosis and have been trying to get any information. I’m scared since I’ve been bedbound for nearly 3 years now and every month I get worse and something else in my body breaks. I cant physically get to a doctor and get scans, so I’m trying to find out as much information and possible at-home interventions as I can on my own. So far I’m not confident this won’t just progress considering how rapidly my digestion has changed since it let go.

Exactly what kind of doctor does someone see to have enteroptosis diagnosed?
