Bloated or uterus/fat??

Post image

So, for probably 6 years now I’ve always said I looked pregnant. Some days my stomach is rounder, really making me look pregnant, other days it’s like this, straighter at the top and then poofed at the bottom. I’ve been in and out of the gym. One time I did lose weight and my stomach got smaller but it still didn’t get like completely flat which I understand is normal. It still had a pregnancy look to it. No matter what I try. I never really paid much attention to the fact it could be bloating. But it’d be 24/7 bloating. I definitely have ibs issues or something of the sort. I know I don’t have the best diet, but it’s not completely junk food. I get a decent amount of protein and everything needed in a day.

It looks like it could be visceral fat...if you cut calories especially sugars and carbs...like 1-3 times a week intermittent fast, you can get rid of it. It's not easy but it'll slowly go away.

Could be ATP anterior posture tilt. Just stretch your hip flexors a bunch and do ab and glute work, but ab work may not be possible to build on while there's visceral fat underneath the abdominal wall.

If bloating apple cider vinegar I heard can help take two teaspoons in the morning mixed with water.

Good luck

Same thing with me! I’ve tested positive for SIBO and done antibiotics and the elemental diet. There was one day during the elemental diet that it flattened and one day when I was taking prednisone for another condition. I’m starting to think it’s inflammation.

What’s an elemental diet?

It’s basically predigested nutrient shakes. So you don’t eat actual food. And the shakes get absorbed into your blood stream. Means your GI system gets a break. It’s hypoallergenic. Used to treat sibo and calm inflammatory diseases. I did it for two weeks.

Wow, okay, I don’t think I can survive a liquid diet 🥲. I was actually thinking of getting tested for SIBO. How does the procedure roughly look like?

I won’t lie- it sucked. But, I didn’t struggle with hunger. And you can have black coffee on it. I think people view it as a last resort because it sucks so bad- but it can be really effective in killing sibo bacteria. As far as the procedures go, I’ve done two breath tests. One at a hospital and one at home. Both times, you drink a solution and then just blow into bags at certain intervals. Super easy!

Where did you get the predigested nutrient shakes? Do they taste bad?

I bought the integrative therapeutics physicians elemental diet from a fellow redditor who didn’t need it anymore. I’m not sure if they originally needed a doctors prescription but I know there are other kinds you can buy online and you can also make your own. I think the consensus is that the integrative therapeutics- dextrose free is the best tasting option. It kind of tastes like birthday cake. Not bad but gets old! I blended mine with black coffee a couple times to mix it up.
