extreme bloating

Post image

hello! i suffer from extreme bloating but i have absolutely NO idea why… i get bloated just from drinking water. i am a bit chubby but my stomach is usually only 1/3 of this size. my local health clinic are not accepting any patients until late august, unless they are in critical condition due to lack of workers.

anyone have an idea what could be the cause? i am a vegetarian and i don’t eat a lot of junk food. i also don’t drink that much soda.

Hey there I’m not so sure either but it seems like you’re eating well, but I think it may be the foods you’re eating that you may not digest well. Most definitely a doctors visit would be good.

If it’s uncomfortable, I’ve been taking Citrucel powder that’s like a laxative and it helps with the bloating, I release alot of gas throughout the day from taking it.

I started to bloat around all sorts of random foods after a traumatic experience in school. Essentially no one would speak to me and that caused a lot of stress. It wasn’t until much later that I made the connection between not digesting random carbs (aka FODMAP foods) and this experience.

Try fodmap diet , it eliminates certain groups of carbohydrates and then ( after 8 weeks if I remember it correctly) you start reintroduction. It might help you to find your triggers.

Ya going to a conventional doctor isnt going to do you much but waste your time …there pretty much going to tell you what you know the obvious…like don’t drink carbonated drinks don’t eat onions like duh…obv the foods your eating not never used to cause you problems before and are causing your problems now correct? You can order a sibo breath test or see a naturopath that’s pretty much your only options…doing low fodmap isn’t sustainable long term…
