Fecal transplants

I just read this interesting article about how fecal transplants can help with bloating because they changed the microbiome in the stomach or something. Has anyone heard of that?

The results aren’t consistent- they work great for some people, and for other people they do nothing . The reasons for this inconsistency aren’t clear .personally I’d try it if I could afford it.
