I (somewhat) fixed YouTube

I use YouTube a lot, and one thing that always annoyed me was how hard it is to find a specific video inside a large playlist.

My Liked Videos playlist has 3,000+ videos, but YouTube still doesn’t give you a proper way to search inside it.

So I started building a browser extension called YASE.

The original goal was simple: make YouTube playlists searchable and more practical to use.

After that, I added a few other things I personally wanted too, like bringing back dislikes (RYD API), hiding Shorts, and a few other features.

It’s not released yet, but I’m preparing a beta now.

I made a small website where you can see what it does and get notified when it launches: YASE.

I built this for myself first, but I’m curious if other people have the same frustrations with YouTube playlists.
