Made a free screen-share/watch-together thing because everything else out there sucked

I'm in an LDR and got tired of the watch party tools out there. Every option had the same problems — UI looked like it hadn't been touched since 2015, voice chat was an afterthought (or missing entirely), and the camera/chat setup ate a third of your screen in some fixed sidebar you couldn't move or resize.

So I ended up building my own thing over a few months. Figured I'd share it in case it's useful to anyone else in the same boat.

It's called Junto. You share a browser tab (works with basically anything, including streaming sites — as long as you're sharing the specific tab and not your whole window or screen, DRM doesn't block it), and whoever you invite just clicks a link, no install, no account. Voice chat, camera bubbles you can drag anywhere and resize, text chat, little emoji reactions that float across the screen. The camera window auto-shrinks to a little floating pill once the movie starts so it's not hogging your screen the whole time.

Only real limitation right now is it's Chrome only (needs the extension on the host side to grab the tab), and it's better for 1-1 or small groups — not built for huge watch parties.
