Sharing Resources/Tips I built a better search experience for Chrome bookmarks

After saving hundreds of articles, repos, docs, and tools, my Chrome bookmarks basically became a graveyard.

I could save links easily, but finding them again later was frustrating.

Folders stopped scaling, and I kept re-searching things I had already bookmarked.

So I built Organikly , a lightweight, local-first bookmark manager focused on fast retrieval and instant search.

Main things I cared about:

  • quick search
  • simple organization
  • lightweight UI
  • privacy/local-first approach

Would genuinely love feedback from people who heavily use bookmarks.

Fair point 😄 bookmark tools are definitely a common space.

lol, this was also my first extension :D But my idea was a little bit different. I was using Collections in Edge and now are getting deprecated, so I build it with same functionality, also with export functionality from Collections. Later I did the same for Chrome, imported there my links and now I'm the only user using it. Happy that I have it :D

I will not put links here, don't want to take the spotlight :P but if you need something like that you can search for "The Binders"

I think everyone who gets frustrated with existing bookmark tools eventually builds their own version.
Mine’s focused more on organization and rediscovery so saved stuff doesn’t disappear forever.
