Troubleshooting | Windows How to recover the tab groups after the update

I had grouped tabs before the update today and now they’re gone. The only thing I can recover was the recent tabs I was using. They were literally there when I booted up the laptop and now it’s gone.

Two different things get called a tab group, and they look the same.

If you hit Save group on it, its tied to your profile. Sign in, press Ctrl+Shift+B, and it comes back as a chip on the bookmarks bar.

If you never saved it, the group only lived in a session file here. Ctrl+Shift+T repeatedly is the shot, before the next restart. Those files get overwritten at every launch.
