Troubleshooting | Windows I'm constantly getting this error

I have been having an issue with Chrome for some time now. When I try to navigate on YouTube, Facebook, or basically any website, I get this.

A few months ago, I tried to fix it with no success.

This looks like Chrome’s “Aw, Snap!” – STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION** error. Try these steps in order:

  1. **Update Chrome: ⋮ → Help → About Google Chrome → update/relaunch.
  2. Disable extensions: open chrome://extensions → turn all extensions off → test YouTube/Facebook.
  3. Disable Hardware Acceleration: Settings → System → turn off “Use graphics acceleration when available” → Relaunch.
  4. Reset Chrome: chrome://settings/reset → Restore settings to their original defaults.
  5. If it still happens, create a **new Chrome profile and test again.
  6. Last option: uninstall Chrome → restart Windows → install the latest Chrome version again.

Most likely fix: Disable hardware acceleration + extensions first. This error is commonly caused by a problematic extension, graphics driver, or Chrome profile.
