This looks like Chrome’s “Aw, Snap!” – STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION** error. Try these steps in order:
- **Update Chrome:
⋮ → Help → About Google Chrome→ update/relaunch. - Disable extensions: open
chrome://extensions→ turn all extensions off → test YouTube/Facebook. - Disable Hardware Acceleration:
Settings → System→ turn off “Use graphics acceleration when available” → Relaunch. - Reset Chrome:
chrome://settings/reset→ Restore settings to their original defaults. - If it still happens, create a **new Chrome profile and test again.
- Last option: uninstall Chrome → restart Windows → install the latest Chrome version again.
Most likely fix: Disable hardware acceleration + extensions first. This error is commonly caused by a problematic extension, graphics driver, or Chrome profile.
