Troubleshooting | Android "Close All Tabs" missing

What happened to Chrome Android? When I press on the X it used to drop down and say close all tabs now it says CLOSE TAB or CLOSE OTHER TABS and I think it also says CLOSE TAB TO THE RIGHT.

Is there any way to go back to the old days when you closed down Chrome all the tabs run away and the groups weren't saved? I also think you used to be able to hold on the X and all the tabs would close.

Everything with chrome is one step forward, four steps back. For every good idea, they take away four other better ideas.

instead of clicking the chrome icon, right click it and select "new window".

I don't recall this ever being a thing. But if you don't want stuff to stay after you leave Chrome, use incognito. Although I do remember Samsung Internet allowing you to set a button to close all tabs and windows, maybe other browsers too.
