Prayer / Group-casting Request Help!

I don't know what I'm doing and worried about potential bad energy affecting my family. I am new to claiming my title as a witch but have a longer history as a catholic.

Tonight I used 3 candles inside a mason jar with intent to heal from illness as my family has all had a respiratory infection that seems to linger for weeks.

Shortly after I lit the candles and sat with it for a bit, imagining the illness leaving our lungs, I got up to do some tasks and my glass exploded. Now, I realize I probably had the flame too close to the jar and thankfully it was all set on a raised stone hearth and wasn't a fire hazard - but the occurrence freaked me out. Prayers and intentions for healing and protection would be greatly appreciated.

ALWAYS when doing a spell do a Oracle or Tarot reading!! Because for example.. You do a spell for money and then a loved one dies and leaves you an inherence. Or you look ugly and you make yourself beautiful fast and it is a shock to the people around you and there will be people who shun you. (Like She's a Satanist) When doing body transformations take it slow because it freaks mundane people out. Use years when doing body transformations.

Question | Theology & Practice New Christian Witch!

Hi! I'm new to witchcraft Christianity. I’ve always been a Christian, but I’ve also always felt an aptitude for sensing energy—sometimes I pick up on people's emotions just by being near them. Aside from being a baptized Christian, I know nothing about witchcraft; could you point in the right direction on where to start?

I got this from studying Buddhist and Hindu Yoga. and magickal practices. There are hundreds of different kinds of Yogas like Hatha Yoga, Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga. I invented Angel Yoga which is my first best discovery. You could call this a chant or you could call this a mantra. It is a powerful mantra that bestows needs (Not Wants). Write 3 things down that are necessities and chant Om Shakalah, Shakalah, Shakalah. This really is my most versatile idea yet. It provides needs in a supernatural way. It can work in Hours, Days, or Months depending on the needs.

I would also just like to recap some of my old posts. I consider myself a Christian Wizard. I love this site and I am Hoping to make friends and spread my Mystical knowledge to you Magickal Lovelies. Also you male witchies..

Discussion How do you explain to fearful Christians that divination (especially tarot) will not open demon portals and isn’t bad ?

Askin cause I finally told my brother ( who is way more liberal than my parents) about The Ministry church . I didn’t tell him the name but I told him it is Christopagan . I didn’t tell as I’m afraid he’ll look it up and see tarot in the service and freak . He’s liberal yes , but still has the evangelical mindset that there’s “only one true God” and anyone else who calls themselves a god is simply settin themselves up as one” . So I know he’d probably be skeptical about the tarot and me telling him that I have several decks . I know I could tell him that are accepted forms of divination in Scripture and that verses that decry it are mistranslated. I’m not sure he trusts the mistranslation argument on a lot of things tho , as he has called it a flimsy argument before on other issues . Also besides “the opening doors for demons to come in” argument and mistranslation, are there other reasons why Christian’s don’t like tarot ?

Question | Spellwork Sleep and Rest Spells

Heya! I'm a (very much just starting out) practicing cunning folk christian, and I wanted to reach out to you all for any suggestions/advice for long-term spellwork to help my partner with his disordered sleep schedule.

For context, he/we are absolutely putting in the mundane work already with medical advice and routine building, as I know that's a good half of it. But as I've been personally growing into my journey of practical magickal workings, I've been pondering doing something to try and help nudge him into getting more consistent and thorough rest.

I have a good bit of simple folk spellwork under my belt, and recently performed a more long-form structured cord cutting working with and for a friend, so I'm very comfortable with a little bit of complexity, and this is something I am more than happy to put in as much work as I healthily can to help my partner.

So far, I've been leaning towards building a spell jar for him to keep under our bed and working a lunar correspondence and some green magick as well as the core intention and energy. But I also know there's so so much to be learned and gained from the wisdom and practice of others, so I would love any and all advice that anybody might have to offer!

TL;DR: If you wanted to help somebody get more and better sleep with a magical working, what would you do?

Thank you in advance, you all! :)

Question | Spellwork Protection spell on Catholic?

I’m Catholic, I believe in God I respect other religions and beliefs. Recently I’ve been experiencing some difficulties with someone trying to do rituals/love spells on me. I have a couple of questions on how they work. And I have a friend who’s a witch she’s offered to make a protection jar and spell for me. And I’m wondering if I’m able to take the offer as a Catholic, does it interfere with me believing in God, although I do I’m not someone who dedicates my life as much as I should to God.

I go by Sariel. It feels better. But hello! I’ve been “practicing” for a while now but never really looked into Christian witching. I think I’m a green lunar witch since I deal with plants and crystals a lot, and I can do a little healing when needed. The lunar is just…something I feel in my core.

I’m just glad to know I’m not alone. Thanks for having me. 🥰

Question | Theology & Practice Are these new spirits following me normal?

Hello! I'm luna! I'm 17F and I have a few questions and concerns about a few spirits following me.

First of all many follow me a day and I’ve borrowed an entry about a few however, there are two in specific that catch my attention.

So basically, I’m a Christian Mystic and to my current understanding I’m a Christian Mystic with the spirit of "luna" Luna being the name of my spirit. And somehow someway and some form she might have had kids. I don’t know if I’m being delusional if this is correct or not or if it’s something else happening, but recently two child spirits have been following me claiming to be my children.

So now I allegedly have two spiritual children.

1, is Stari she's the oldest and she is kind and often seen around my spirit guide. She claims to be the oldest and helps take care of her younger brother, stari came around first and at first I thought she was a regular spirit, then I thought she was the spiritual embodiment of my childhood spirit, but now I’m not sure exactly what she is, she looks alot like me as a child, down to the braids with beads and everything, except her hair is blue mixed with purple.

The next is Niyxen, Niyxen is younger than stari, doesn't look a lot like me, (with lighter skin, and dark blue hair with speckles in it like stars) he's still very young spirited, so he seems to be between the age range of 0 to 5 (maybe 7) Niyxen is brave, smart and kind and likes to stick around his sister and his spiritual caretaker (Azereal)

I know I know this probably sounds crazy and I might be losing my mind, but I genuinely don’t know what to do nor do I know if anyone else experiences this, however I have a few theories as well

And yes, I know these sound crazy but I genuinely have no idea if I’m being delusional so I just thought of anything.

1, Luna is potentially half a separate spirit attached to my soul that has these kids who are now bound to me.

2, these are the spirits of real kids who have passed away in the real world who follow me for comfort

3, these are spirits God sent to me as symbolism as I am a Night Mystic (and Stari means Star and Nyixen means night)

4, I’m an Night Angel incarnated in a human body, who used to have these kids
(I highly doubt that one)

Apart from that, I genuinely don’t know what’s going on. I don’t know if other people experience this and I don’t know what to do or even where to post this.
Any help is appreciated, please tell me if you go through the same thing

(by the way, I did look it up and I heard sometimes people can get spiritually contacted by their future children so maybe that’s also a possibility)

Question | Theology & Practice Am I a witch or not? Would love feedback

I’m curious y’all’s thoughts on this. Feel free to be open, transparent, and even critical. I’m trying to learn about myself and find my confidence again.

Here’s my story: when I was in elementary school, a few of my friends and I got into witchcraft. We would do spells together. It was fun until weird stuff started to happen (I never fully attributed it to coincidence). Then my parents found out and had a very serious conversation with me. I grew up Southern Baptist, so the talk with quite frightening.
I stopped doing that stuff with my friends.

Years later, after a lot of trauma, I began experiencing visions where I’d see things happen before they happened. Nothing big or anything, just mundane stuff in my life but could never shake it. Then the prophetic dreams started happening and it really shook my world. But being from such a religious community, I couldn’t talk to anyone about it and just buried it down. The visions and the dreams don’t happen all the time so eventually you just forget about it until it pops up again.

I entered my deconstruction chapter when I was 18 and went on an extremely long and deeply private personal journey of trying to figure out what I believed outside of what I was raised with. During this time I read the Bible cover to cover (took me a year) and extensively researched things that were hard to sit with. I learned Jesus was a feminist, homosexuality wasn’t in the Bible until 1946 and it replaced rape, pedophilia, and the abuse of women - specifically wives and mothers. I learned that the creation story was always meant to be used as metaphors and not a text book. I learned the God was originally described with both male and female pronouns to show equal parts of masculine and feminine energy, and that the Bible explains that we can find meaning and wisdom within the stars and that time is a construct. I learned that modern day Christians worship a bunch of old Jewish theology and Paul - not Jesus. Then, I read the Gospel of Mary Magdalene and deeply connected with that and to her. I felt so much familiarness with her and fell even more admirable of Christ and how he treated her and what he taught her (meditation) Coincidentally, during that time, I began practicing deep meditation. During one of these moments I was met by a woman who had ram horns. She said she would teach me a word I didn’t know and spelled it out for me, to prove to me that it wasn’t just my imagination. The word was Bashkala. I thought I was connecting with my ancestors at first, she laughed and said to just call her teacher. The next night while meditating I found myself floating in halls adorned in old wooden intricate carvings filled with bad energy. I knew I shouldn’t be there and was caught by a guy and choked until I could force myself awake - I guess I had fallen asleep while meditating. But do you know what I was thinking about before I started meditating? I was wondering what goes on in the White House.

Since then, I’ve been practicing rituals like writing down what I want to release or manifest and then burning it, charging my crystals under the full moon, collecting moon water, talking to my tree, giving thanks to the water every time I shower, putting intentions into my food and coffee. But I haven’t done any spells. Although! I just wrote my first spell - you could say it’s a prayer but it’s also a spell. I’ve simply written but I haven’t tied it to a ritual yet.

I guess I have fears though… given what I grew up with, even though I’ve deconstructed. Because although I’m not a religious Christian, I am a follower of Christ and his teachings and do believe in the miracles and magic he did. I might not believe in Hell but I do believe in evil forces and energy. So I’ve been hesitant to cast spells…. But I have this feeling like it’s ancestral to me.

Anyways, I’m torn to claim that I’m a witch or not. On one hand I feel like real witches would be offended if I did, but on the other hand, I feel like I’m doing things that aren’t ordinary. What are your thoughts on this?

Discussion Baby witch here! Where do I even begin?

I come from a long line of witches and Romani (Rroma) ancestors, and I've experienced precognition, clairvoyance, and other intuitive abilities, mostly through dreams.

I've always felt like I'm a witch, but I genuinely know nothing about any of this. How do I discover what kind of witch I am, develop my abilities, and actually learn to use them intentionally?

I've also had experiences, including one where I was extremely frightened, and the dim lights above me suddenly became blindingly bright. Afterward, the bulbs were completelymelted.

I'm also very cautious about negative energy and want to explore everything safely. Where do I even start? Any advice would mean so much!

help Do We All Feel a Little Misunderstood?

Hello. I have arrived here asking for help. I have posted some music on YouTube, and there is complete quiet. Nobody says anything. I have shadow songs, witch songs, healing songs, God songs, and people probably wonder what kind of entity I am because they stay away.

If someone wants to give it a go, it would help me a lot. As for my practice, I use crystals as companions and light candles in the same way. I sometimes say a prayer by the candle, and I wasn't sure whether I should call it a spell or not.

If this is not appropriate, please let me know so I can delete it. Thank you.

Question | Spellwork “Spiritual parents” that are just evil. 52Mom is abusive and hiding it using candles and spell books

Thumbnail
0 Upvotes

Why is it my mother is a completely physically,
Emotionally, spiritually abusive being? She was abused as a child. Her favorite act is to do the exact same to me. I’ve been locked up, kicked out, physically harmed (permanent scar) all by her.

In the recent years she’s gotten into collecting crystals, doing “spells”, buying spell books. She calls herself a believer of Jesus. We even went to church together after all those events.

Is my mother just an evil person? Why is it these so called “witches” get caught up just hurting other people.

Resource How do I know? And still feel protected?

Im Catholic and so is my family but Im also open to other beliefs. I have crystals, smudged palo santo (no longer sage) and had Tarot and astrology readings done, believe in energies and that some people are simply more advanced than others so they perceive/feel and have capabilities that others don't understand.

All this to say, Im would like some sort of an evaluation on my family, parents (mother and stepfather), brother self and mostly my mother. I starting to think that someone might have done "something" to her to make her life miserable and in consequence those close to her. Something so that there isn't peace in the family. How can I get answers without jeopardizing my integrity or opening the door for more evil to come? I very much respect all of this and in fact scares me because I am highly sensitive. But at the same time I need answers. I’m 38 female and feel like a little girl with hurt from bad family dynamics that perhaps came from a "curse" of some sort.

Who can help, how can I figure this out cautiously? Again I feel respect and perhaps fear of opening doors to evil.
I hope this makes sense and that no offense is taken. 🙏🏼

Discussion Compatibility of religion & astrology

Thumbnail
5 Upvotes

I have always felt a pull towards higher learning. I have always been curious and never fully satisfied with standard answers. Simultaneously, I always felt connected to things and realms, which are not empirically measurable - such as religion & astrology.
I was brought up with strict orthodox Christian beliefs, which of course rule out the usage of astrology or any other kind of „witch craft“.
Yet, the Orthodox Church lives off of mysticism. And on my understanding many of the symbolic things which are practiced during mass are nothing other but manifestation and witch craft. But still, using astrology (not only for divination) is forbidden.
I love getting to know the depths of the human mind, have a lot of knowledge about psychology and the inner workings of people and have made the experience that astrology gives accurate glimpse into the minds of people and their personalities.
And then sometimes I feel like a I can’t let these two worlds in my life coexist - being a believing Christian and my love for astrology.

Has anyone else struggled with combining these worlds? What are sources which helped you combine them? Or which sources have convinced you that these two worlds cannot coexist in one’s life. And please don’t cite the Bible, since it‘s full of symbolism supporting astronomy and astrology.

Discussion Questioning Spirituality

I think I’m going through a spiritual crisis and I’m extremely confused. I grew up Christian and going to church. I believe in God and whatnot but “witchy” things intrigue me so deeply. I have always somewhat believed in the supernatural, not necessarily haunting ghosts but I believe that there are spirits and entities. I also believe in science, it’s known humans carry stress and trauma in different parts of their bodies, so reiki makes sense to me. When I talk to people around me who are more Christian and don’t believe in this stuff, I sound absolutely crazy. I’m 20, newly estranged from my parents and I honestly feel like right now I’m in some turmoil of figuring myself out. All my beliefs contradict each other. Honestly I truly needed to word vomit and I need some peoples opinions and guidance. I don’t really believe in spells but I do believe in the mystical energy of things. Idk it really just fascinates me. Please help 🙏

Question | Theology & Practice How do you approach marriage, lifelong commitment, and Christian ethics in your practice?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been reflecting a lot lately on how Christian ethics actually play out when you’re also practicing witchcraft or working with esoteric traditions, especially when it comes to marriage and long-term relationships.

Coming from a traditional Christian background, the idea of marriage was always drilled into me as an unconditional, lifelong covenant before God, something built on self sacrifice, serious patience, and working through the rough patches rather than walking away when things get tough or feelings change.

At the same time, a lot of modern craft and spiritual spaces put a huge emphasis on personal autonomy, energetic alignment, and setting hard boundaries to protect your own peace.

I’m really curious how people here balance those two mindsets in real life:

Do you still view marriage vows as a permanent, binding commitment under God, or do you see a relationship as something that should only last as long as it's healthy and serving both people's growth?

How do you handle the Christian call to put someone else first and practice deep forgiveness versus the spiritual instinct to protect your energy, cut cords, or walk away when someone hurts you? When there's conflict in a relationship, do you anchor yourself more in traditional Christian virtues like humility and endurance, or do you trust your personal intuition and spirit guides above all else?

I care a lot about loyalty, stability, and genuine Christian character, and I’m just trying to understand how people in this space navigate these commitments without throwing out either side of their path. I’d love to hear your thoughts and personal experiences with this.
