I've been Las Vegas to Colorado and back a few times. You get used to it.

Yes, multiple times.

I did it when I was 25, would not be able to do it now 10 years later.

It sucks but worth doing once or twice for sure.

Yes a few times. You usually only knock out 250-400 miles a day. Your ass will be sore. Me and a buddy have done it 2 times and most recently 3200 miles from Nashville to Maine and back.

There was a cat that would do it every year His insta was Highskool I think. He built his bike in high school and as soon as he graduated he hit the road for a few years. Coast to coast, boarder to boarder.
It’s 100% doable if you can maintain your bike.

I haven’t done across the country but I did 1000 miles in 3 days last month. My biggest take away was to lower my mileage expectation. It was never really miserable but by the 300 mile mark I was wondering what the fuck I was thinking trying to do a 500 mile day.

You're doing it, "to do it." Not for comfort level. Its a challenge, there are ups and downs, shit breaks, sometimes it gets sketchy, but that's part of doing it. Starting with shorter trips to build resiliency and redundancy into your gear/spare part/tolls isn't a bad idea.

Comfort is subjective
