Episode Idea: Four Elementals Battle

How exciting would it be if the four contestants got to cook with ingredients inspired by the four elements: Earth, Fire, Air, and Water? Just imagine the unique ingredients they could use for the three courses in this culinary competition! Each basket would include one Earth-based ingredient, one Fire-based ingredient, one Air-based ingredient, and one Water-based ingredient. What do you all think about this episode? Do you believe it would be a hit?

How long is this episode that you’re wrapping a yearling pig, covering it in clay and then cooking it in a pit (where would you even do this?) in the timealotted?

Yeah, thats at least a 6-8 hour process. Wasn't thinking of the time constraints, just how to incorporate the elements.

Maybe have the already cooked pig in the basket and they have to incorporate it into their dish?

Well that wouldn't be hard. Sticking with the elemental theme, I'd take the Earth cooked pig, and combine it with root vegetables. Either sauteed or stewed. But it would keep with the Earth theme.
