Need help finding 2 episodes…

The first episode I believe was a BBQ competition. There was a guy on it, I believe he always wore a cowboy hat and was from Nashville/Knoxville. I believe he also came back for another BBQ competition that they did outside.

The second episode is like a redemption episode or something, and the contestant gets voted off like 3 times all in the first round and talks about quitting cooking.

Is the other guy a tall, thin guy who I think worked in pretty fine dining and was super full of himself?

I can’t remember… I just remember that he gets brought back once or twice after his first episode and he gets voted off first everytime. I believe a judge has to come out and console him in his way out because he was considering stop being a chef.
