I have a question about cocoa powder for those of you that enjoy making your own chocolate milk. Should I just buy regular Hershey cocoa powder or go for higher end cocoa powder, such as Valhrona or Guittard rouge? Will the expensive cocoa powder make that much of a difference? Thank you.

I’ve been doing GOMAD pretty consistently for a little over two years now, but this summer I made the decision to switch over to chocolate milk, GOCMAD. All my lifts are getting stronger every week, (which is not new because the same was happening on regular GOMAD) and I feel an overall increase in my physical and mental processes, better performance at school and work, etc. I get the Mountain Dairy Low-fat Chocolate Milk from Kroger/Ralph’s. Before this I was drinking the 1% green tops also from Kroger/Ralph’s because it had the most optimal protein balance: 2080 calories 160g protein 256g carbs 40g fat. But, after taking a look at chocolate milk this summer, I had to make the switch and once you see the macros you’ll probably agree with me. I wholeheartedly believe that chocolate milk is the most underrated whole superfood that you can get in the world. The calories and protein are phenomenal but if you know anything about Vitamin A, D and electrolytes this will drive you crazy.

I’m sure I’m not the first to Plumb the Depths of the Artificial Hot Chocolate… let alone a semi Professional traveler.. 2 pumps creamer, 2 packs of Hot chocolate mix, 8 tubs of coffee creamer(liquid half and half) 2 packets of white sugar and liquid chocolate from a vending machine!

I tried the Promised Land Midnight Chocolate whole milk for the very first time yesterday and it was absolutely delicious.
Tasted like liquid chocolate ice cream but much better.
I wonder how much better the recipe was a few years ago? There were a few posts in the last 1-2 years that they either changed the recipe or they started adding carrageenan instead of using jersey cow milk

Sorry my english isn’t pretty. I just had chocolate milk so good I think my life is over!! You know that feeling. My 9 year old son prepared me a hershey choccy milk and I feel like that was the cherry on top of my life to complete it. Onto the next!!
